Why a site about Self Bondage, why further a Wiki?

As have many people with my particular fetish, I've been turned by the thought of being restrained since childhood. Of course as a child there were silly night time fantasies, and nothing came of them; then computer communications happened. I say Computer Communications rather than the Internet, as at that point, there was no Internet.

Computer Communication opened my eyes and those of many others by brining them together in completely anonymous circumstances, not face to face, using aliases etc; it enabled them to share their ideas, to let others out there know that they're not alone, that their desires were neither twisted or perverted, maybe not main-stream, but none the less not frighteningly abnormal. It also enabled lots of people who were previously too embarrassed, like myself, to obtain pictures depicting people in bondage of one sort or another... I swear my life hasn't been the same since those early days!

After the early age of Computer Communications came the Internet with the World Wide Web, then we truly saw the explosion, this site is the latest part of that, for me at least. This site contains some basic safety tips, and some methods to place yourself in delicious imprisonment which allow you to live our your fantasies with the assumption that you'll not put your life in danger. You'll only be in danger of having to explain "interesting messes", or perhaps, as an adult, some "extremely interesting situations" which your friends and family may from time to time stumble across - after all there has to be a little risk involved, otherwise it just doesn't work. If you're reading this site, you'll know that already!

I decided to put up this site to bring a few people out into the open, give them some safety tips so they end up having safe thrills, and give them a place to discuss techniques, stories and ideas in the open - that's where the Wiki comes in - with enough people helping out, I hope this will in time become a great resource for a pasttime enjoyed by more people than you'd think.
